Who this notice covers.

This website is operated under the MSS Works Industrial Security brand by MSS Works Industrial Telemetry & OT Security LLC, 2400 Smallman St, Strip District, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. This notice explains the public site’s information flows. Contracted monitoring, incident response, and engineering work involve separate service arrangements and may require additional confidentiality, security, and data handling terms agreed with the customer.

Questions about this notice can be sent to [email protected] with “Privacy enquiry” in the subject. Describe the request without attaching credentials, sensitive plant diagrams, or unnecessary personal information. We may need enough context to locate a prior correspondence or establish that a request relates to information you are entitled to discuss. We will explain any additional information needed for that purpose.

The planner runs in your browser.

The Purdue segmentation planner calculates its draft using the facility, protocols, and target level selected on the page. Its code does not send those selections to a server, create a user account, or save them in browser storage. Reloading the page restores the starting settings. If you download a plan, your browser creates a text file on your device; you control its subsequent storage and sharing.

The planner does not connect to industrial equipment, discover network assets, or collect packet captures. Do not place real addresses, passwords, or sensitive process information into unrelated browser tools while preparing an enquiry. The downloaded plan uses role-based endpoint descriptions, not a map of your actual installation. Sharing it with us is a separate action that you decide to take through an agreed communication channel.

Requests made when you open a page.

Like other websites, the site’s host and delivery infrastructure may process technical request information, such as an IP address, requested path, browser details, and request time, to deliver pages and maintain service security. Exact server logging and retention depend on the hosting configuration. This application does not include an analytics tracker, advertising pixel, embedded chat service, or tracking-cookie code in its generated pages.

The pages request the Chakra Petch, IBM Plex Sans, and Share Tech Mono typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to Google’s font services, which receive the technical information associated with those requests. Google explains its handling in the Google Fonts privacy information. If font requests are blocked, the site falls back to fonts available on your device and the planner remains usable.

Information you send by email.

Email links open your chosen mail application. If you send an enquiry, the message may contain your name, address, organization, and the information you include. We use that correspondence to understand the request, reply, and manage the resulting business discussion. Your email provider and the receiving mail service also process the message under their own arrangements. This static site does not operate an enquiry submission database.

Keep introductory messages limited to a sanitized description of your operational problem. Detailed architecture, packet payloads, controller logic, and incident evidence may need a separately agreed transfer method. Necessary correspondence may be retained for follow-up, business records, dispute handling, or applicable obligations. We do not promise a universal deletion period for every record; retention needs depend on the purpose and any subsequent service agreement.

Choices, requests, and changes.

You may ask about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your correspondence by contacting the operations address above. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and the records involved. We will review the request in context and explain the response. External links have their own information practices. If the public site’s information flows change materially, this notice should be updated with a new effective date so visitors can review the current description.
