There are many ways to increase your brand recognition by using social media. In this article I will offer the best advice for getting your brand out there and increasing your audience. Follow these steps and your brand will be known by many more people.

 

Connect with others

Find other people with similar brands on instagram or twitter and reach out! There’s nothing better than helping someone else while also making your brand more out there and well known. There are loads out there and don’t worry, you won’t have to compete with them. You can work with influencers so that both your brands benefit in the long run. Find people that fit well into your target audience and away you go.

 

Keep a record of things

A lot of different social media sites offer the ability to check statistics showing people’s engagement. You could see how many likes you’ve got on what and who’s sharing your work. You’ll be able to see who your target audience is by using this. You could also keep tabs on links you have shared by using a URL shortener like bit.ly and that will show you how many people have accessed the link. It’s perfect. You’ll be able to see what is good about your brand and what people don’t connect with.

Make a social media planner – It will be so helpful in keeping your upcoming events organised. Know what to post where and on what day. Know what content works better in certain platforms. It’s so important and your brand will reach so many more people this way!

 

Talk to your audience

Use twitter or instagram to do Q and As. The more of your audience you communicate with on social media, the more they’ll tell others about your brand. Word spreads fast, especially in these technological times. So get on with it and interact. You could put something on your instagram story. You could have weekly quizzes or challenges. Think out of the box! Whatever works, just get communicating. It will also set you apart from your competition.

Not everyone on instagram will be on facebook and vice versa. And don’t just upload instagram posts to facebook. You’ve got to make them specific for the platform they’re on. This will make it look like you know what you’re doing and people will like it if each social media account has a different vibe and feel. Don’t use hashtags on facebook, save them for twitter. And don’t put photos on twitter, save them for instagram. It’s all about understanding the platform you’re using. Maybe check out what other brands like yours are doing on their accounts so you have a good idea of where you stand. This will massively improve your outreach and make people aware of what your brand is and its message.
